Once your ship has arrived in the port of Livorno, your driver will greet you just off the gangway of your ship. He will have a sign with your name on so to be easily spotted. In Pisa,  you can visit the Piazza dei Miracoli (Miracle Square), which includes the Cathedral, the Baptistery, the Camposanto and, of course, the Leaning Tower, which is actually the Cathedral’s bell tower. If you wish to climb the Leaning Tower you need to get your tickets in advance. We suggest 11:00 am to fit into the rest of the day’s schedule.

After your visit to Pisa it will be time to head to the charming town of Lucca. A great way to start exploring the town is to start with a walk along the old city walls, which are Lucca’s more distinctive feature, where you’ll also find a beautiful Botanical Garden.

Moving on to the town center,  you don’t want to miss there is the Cathedral of Saint Martin and the Church of Saint Michael, home of some of the most beautiful religious art masterpieces. And don’t forget the Piazza dell’Anfiteatro, one of Lucca’s most charming gathering spots. As you stand in the center of the square you will clearly see the typical elliptical structure of the Roman Amphitheater on which the buildings were placed on.
